Be Dead Wrong!

I understand that back in the good old days, failing to kill that Woolly Mammoth meant certain death secondary to cold and starvation, but it's been a couple of million years, the stakes arent' that high anymore!

Taking chances and miserably failing at crafting a lifestyle for yourself is not only a good thing, but in my opinion, critical to long term awesomeness.

In fact marketing your business is deeply rooted in failed efforts, misguided campaigns and content bordering on mediocrity. This is accepted as long as it doesn't become acceptable!

Take content production specific to your business for example: this done primarily via your blog (which I hope you've made part of your content marketing toolbox).

A single post on your blog could make the difference in months to come in terms of traffic and potential business for anyone in any industry, I don't care if you sell concrete.

Here's the commitment you need to make in order to do it half decently:

  • Develop daily content publishing and curating habits.
  • Write every day and read every day.
  • Start posting once a week, then twice a week according to your personal schedule.
  • Start doing keyword research in your niche.

These four habits will start getting you well on the way to producing and organizing better content, which is one of most efficient ways to generate leads which will consequently lead to sales.

Just keep one thing in mind ... take chances with your content creation, it's never been easier to get it wrong!
